Junior Team Begins
Junior Team started this school year with a lot of excitement and joy. We have 21 kids this year and they are all fabulous! They have invested all their hearts in preparation for this year’s ministry. We have a great performing arts program ready and they are all learning to share about what Jesus has done in their lives through giving testimonies.
Our team verse for the year is John 10:27…”My sheep hear My voice, and I know them and they follow Me.” We will learn all about hearing God speak to us, and us listening to Him. From the still small whisper to visions and dreams, we will be listening to our wonderful Father that wants to speak to His lovely little sheep, giving us understanding of His love and unmistakable direction for their lives.
One other very cool thing about this year’s team is that some of the youth from the Senior Team were encouraged by God to volunteer as leaders. Zach, Justine, Julie, and Ana are all functioning in a leadership role with the younger kids and are having a great time doing it. They help plan our ministry, teach choreography, lead action groups, present the teaching in fun and creative ways, prepare lunch, and generally just love and disciple their younger friends.
This year promises to be an adventure. We have already ministered in a very poor colonia in Juarez. We mixed and laid concrete, held soccer and jump rope tournaments, and even ran a salon. We will be going to other people in need throughout the school year and through Jesus’ help bless them
Bridge Adventures
We are glad for the opportunities that God gives us as families, to have experiences together outside of our normal day to day routine. It seems hard to break our normal habits to do something entirely different with our kids, but it creates conversation, memories and experiences that they won’t forget.
Our family outing in November was unique in that we invited some of the gold miners from the local club to help with running the dry wash machines and teaching panning. They were greatly touched and moved by the devotions in the morning and lunch, then watching the kids and parents interact. We are looking toward an outing in January and an overnighter in the spring.
Greetings from our Staff
It’s a joy to us to work with the many children and families who are on King’s Kids’ local teams and those who join us for Spring Break outreaches, summer missions, the Dunamis Discipleship Course, Bridge Adventures and other ministries. We appreciate our long term friendships with so many Christians from across the US and Canada.
All of our staff would like to wish you and your family a Christmas season filled with God’s blessings!

Senior Team Reaches Out
Last month the Senior Team worked with the Junior Team and families in an outreach that took 85 people to a very poor neighborhood in Juarez for a day.
This month we’ll work with The Lord’s House of Prayer again to do another outreach to the homeless and Christmas shoppers in the plaza in downtown El Paso and the surrounding area. It was an eye opening experience for us two years ago to see where people live in the back alleys of our city. We’ll do our evangelistic dramas, music, Christmas carols and give out cookies and hot chocolate to draw people. In the spring we’ll have an outreach to the poor in Dona Ana County and other events.
