Spring Break Outreach About 175 kids and adults from California, all over Texas, New Mexico and South Carolina came here for Spring Break Outreach, which we held at St. Clement church. Our theme was how to get ON TRACK with the Lord and stay there, and we saw a great response of kids getting their lives right with God throughout the week. The feedback from youth leaders and parent chaperones was unanimously enthusiastic about the difference this week made in the lives of their kids. The daily ministry outreaches to inner city kids, a Vacation Bible School in a housing project, street evangelism, practical service to a local ministry, prayer for the Juarez violence, missions and world religions training and the homeless all went well. It was an exhausting but fruitful week! 

The teenage Senior Team will minister at a youth outreach in Deming, NM this month with the Calvary Chapel there.

 

The 9-12 year old Junior Team will take their annual pretend mission outreach to several countries to learn about other people and religions, and maybe hear the Lord's call on their lives to minister in those places someday.

IGNITE youth conference near Albuquerque, New Mexico. This was the tenth annual IGNITE conference, which was started by King’s Kids El Paso and has become a major annual event for youth in the area.

It covers Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Mormonism, Jehovah's Witness and the New Age, with 25 of my best personal stories of taking the Gospel to these people. I'll start teaching the new book on Monday nights to about 20 young people and trust that it will be a useful resource for many believers to be equipped to bring hope to the lost.  Summer Outreach 2010
