What:

Intensive Discipleship Course (IDC) is an intensive program of spiritual growth for high school and college students who have a sincere desire for more in-depth knowledge of the Bible and continued progress in their relationship with the Lord. This course is held every week on Monday nights during the school year.

IDC was developed and used at Jesus Chapel East in El Paso, Texas from 1986–1994, and is now a part of the King's Kids ministry of discipling teenagers. The course has spread to every continent and is available in multiple languages. It was published and made available internationally through YWAM Publishing.

Why:

The purpose of IDC is to develop Godly character in young people, and help them find God's purpose for their lives. Lively discussion style teaching and question and answer sessions are challenging and you’ll learn more Scripture than ever before. Most IDC students choose to take the course 2-3 times since they grow so much through it!
